1. General Refund Policy
SmartViewServer operates a strict no-refund policy. All sales of VPS hosting services are considered final. By purchasing any service from SmartViewServer (smartviewserver.com), you acknowledge and agree that payments are non-refundable except as specifically outlined in this policy.
Due to the nature of virtual private server hosting, where dedicated resources including CPU, RAM, storage, and bandwidth are allocated immediately upon service activation, we are unable to offer refunds for change of mind, dissatisfaction with features, or failure to use the service.
2. Sole Exception: Inability to Provide Service
The only circumstance under which a refund may be issued is if SmartViewServer is unable to provide the purchased service. This exception applies exclusively to situations where the fault or inability lies with SmartViewServer, including but not limited to:
- SmartViewServer fails to deploy or provision the VPS server within a reasonable timeframe after payment has been processed
- SmartViewServer is unable to deliver the service specifications (CPU, RAM, storage, bandwidth) as described in the purchased plan
- A prolonged and unresolvable technical failure on SmartViewServer's infrastructure that prevents delivery of the service as described
- SmartViewServer discontinues a service that you have already paid for and is unable to provide a suitable alternative
Important: Refunds are NOT issued for issues caused by the customer, including but not limited to misconfiguration, software installation errors, exceeding resource limits, violation of our Terms and Conditions, account suspension due to policy violations, or any other customer-side issue.
3. 7-Day Refund Request Window
All refund requests must be submitted within seven (7) days from the date of purchase. This timeframe is strictly enforced with no exceptions:
- Refund requests received within 7 days of the purchase date will be reviewed and evaluated based on the criteria outlined in Section 2 of this policy
- After 7 days from the date of purchase, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances, regardless of the reason
- The date of purchase is defined as the date on which payment was successfully processed and confirmed by our system
- The 7-day period is calculated in calendar days, not business days
4. Eligible Services
This Refund Policy applies exclusively to VPS hosting services purchased directly from SmartViewServer. The following conditions apply:
- Refunds only apply to VPS hosting service fees paid directly to SmartViewServer
- Domain registrations, domain transfers, and domain renewal fees are non-refundable under all circumstances
- Third-party software licenses and add-on services (additional IP addresses, backup storage, etc.) are non-refundable
- Setup fees and custom configuration charges, if applicable, are non-refundable
5. How to Request a Refund
If you believe you are eligible for a refund based on the criteria outlined in this policy, please follow these steps:
- Contact our support team at [email protected] within 7 days of your purchase date
- Include your full name, account email address, order number, and the date of purchase
- Provide a detailed description of the issue, explaining why you believe SmartViewServer was unable to provide the purchased service
- Include any relevant evidence, screenshots, or documentation to support your claim
Our support team will review your request and respond within 48 hours. SmartViewServer reserves the sole and absolute right to determine whether a refund request meets the criteria outlined in this policy.
6. Refund Processing
If your refund request is approved:
- The refund will be processed to the original payment method used at the time of purchase
- Refund processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider, but typically take between 5 to 14 business days to appear in your account
- SmartViewServer is not responsible for any delays caused by your bank or payment provider in processing the refund
- Upon issuance of a refund, the associated VPS hosting service will be immediately terminated and all data stored on the server will be permanently deleted
7. Non-Refundable Situations
To provide further clarity, the following situations are explicitly non-refundable:
- Change of mind or decision not to use the service after purchase
- Failure to cancel a recurring service before the next billing cycle
- Service suspension or termination resulting from violation of our Terms and Conditions or Acceptable Use Policy
- Issues caused by customer misconfiguration, software incompatibility, or lack of technical knowledge
- Temporary service interruptions that fall within the scope of our Service Level Agreement
- Dissatisfaction with server performance that operates within the specifications of the purchased plan
- Any refund request submitted after 7 days from the date of purchase
- Downtime or issues caused by factors outside SmartViewServer's control, including natural disasters, acts of government, or third-party service failures
8. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or payment provider without first contacting SmartViewServer to resolve the issue, your account will be immediately suspended and may be permanently terminated. We strongly encourage all customers to contact us directly at [email protected] to resolve any billing concerns before involving third parties.
9. Changes to This Policy
SmartViewServer reserves the right to update or modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. The Refund Policy in effect at the time of your purchase will apply to that transaction. We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed of any changes.
